Beware the comments! (+new camera) - update

Sat Feb 7, 2009, 3:46 PM
Just forwarding on some information here that I've seen in a few people's journals over the last two days.

There appear to be tow messages going around deviantArt that are more than a little malicious. They are:

"Hey. check out this funny blog!! LOL CLICK HERE"

"Hey. I think i saw your picture on this website/blog here CLICK HERE"

The general consensus seems to be don't click them no matter who appears to have posted them. Apparently after you've clicked those links you will see a fake version of dA that will tell you that you're logged out. If you then attempt to sign in they have your account details and can use them to spread more of the messages.

So, don't click them whatever you do!
-------------------------------------------------

Edit: You can also watch out for messages that say something along the lines of:

"Rofl, this is relevant to your interests"

It's a similar thing apparently.

-------------------------------------------------

Edit Edit: Here's some more that others have reported:

"Hey. this person wrote something about you in their blog, CLICK HERE."

"hey! check this out! I just saw who my Secret VALENTINE WAS !! it really works.. see who your VALENTINE is just CLICK HERE"

"hey i thouight this iQ quiz was cool. i just took mine!!"

-------------------------------------------------

On slightly better news Jess came home the other day with another box camera for me. It's Coronet Twelve-20. Now, I already had two of those that we picked up in a box stuff that somebody was giving away, but this one is different.

This one for a start has it's case and not only that it's been well looked after and we think used in recent times. It seems to have had it's light seals recently replaced, the chrome cleaned up and it's possibly been recovered but I can't say for certain. Add to that that she found it for £3 and that's pretty awesome.

It is however making all the other Coronets look sad. They could do with quite a bit of TLC themselves.

I'm totally going to be a Final Fantasy Tactics Advance style judge. Riding a giant bird, covered in cool armor, and a little gay. [link]
You're welcome.
I've been reading Between Failures since just after you started uploading it over at Smack Jeeves, but I only just found your dA page. You can blame manekochan for that one.
